Delete your Clocked-Out account

You can delete your account for Clocked-Out Exam Prep, by Powered By Knowledge LLC, at any time, and you don’t need the app to do it.

To request deletion, email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with “Delete my account” in the subject. You can also delete your account yourself in the app or on our website, as shown below.

Delete it yourself

In the app or at study.clocked-out.com:

  1. Sign in and open Account.
  2. Tap Manage Account, then Delete Account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.
  4. Sign in again when asked. Your account is deleted right away.

Request deletion by email

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account, with “Delete my account” in the subject. We confirm the request came from that address, delete your account within 30 days, and email you when it’s done.

If you can’t send from that address, for example because you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, write from any address. We’ll confirm with you through your account’s email before deleting anything.

Before you delete

Cancel your subscription first. A subscription through Apple or Google keeps renewing until you cancel it there. Deleting your account should also cancel one bought on our website, but please cancel it yourself first to avoid any billing issues. Here’s how:

Deleting can’t be undone. It ends your Premium, including any time left on your subscription or from referrals, and your referral code stops working. If you need help cancelling, email [email protected].

What’s deleted and what’s kept

Deleted: your account, including your email address, account ID, and the name and profile picture link from your Google or Apple sign-in; your selected exam and exam date, study plan, answers, flagged questions, quiz and mock exam history, and study progress; your referral information; any Pass Protection claim record; and the purchase history held by our subscription management provider. Your email address and account ID are also removed from any reports you sent us.

Kept:

Copies in our providers’ backups, and our website hosting provider’s request logs, are deleted on those providers’ own schedules. Our Privacy Policy has the full details.
